Getting Started

We understand how difficult selecting a monument for your loved one can be.
This page was designed to assist you in the first steps of that process.

Many customers are unsure of how to begin. We usually recommend selecting the style of monument first. You can view our monument photos here to see shape types.

The next step is to choose the color of the stone. Granite is priced by color, gray being the least expensive, and the deepest shades of black and red being the most expensive. There are many unique and variously priced shades in between.

The amount of polished area on the stone also adds or reduces the price. An upright stone with a smooth front and back, with top and sides that are rough, is less expensive than an upright stone that is smooth on all five sides.

The size of the stone is typically determined by the amount of lettering that is to be engraved. It is usually best to see the stone sizes in person and let us help you in selecting the best size for the location and engraving.

In many cases people are working with a specific time line and or budget. We do our best to recommend the highest quality option possible.

Once the monument basics have been established you can begin to select the engraving. We have a large selection to choose from. Including floral patterns, animals, automobiles, hobbies,  emblems, and much more.

We pride ourselves on hand crafting each monument. We are the only area monument shop that does all work on site. This enables us to customize your memorial. We can redraw your personal photos and engrave them on your monument.

Our staff will gladly assist you in choosing the best layout for your selected designs and lettering.

We are here to answer any questions that may arise before, during, or after your monument purchase. Your satisfaction is our top priority.
